Do I need to book in advance?
Tours must be booked in advance, and often sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance.
Is the tour narrated?
Captain Ben is happy to share his wealth of knowledge about Seattle and its waterways, but your private tour is about you.
How many passengers can attend? Will there be others on the boat?
Six bridges Seattle accommodates up to 6 guests and each tour is private.
What happens if it rains?
The boat gets covered with a bimini if needed and we provide blankets so you stay dry and comfy. We do not cancel for rain.
Are there bathrooms on the boat?
There are no bathrooms aboard, but there are plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks along the way.
Can we bring outside food?
You are welcome to bring food aboard. There are several great restaurants/grocery stores nearby. There is a convenience store for snacks and beers on Lake Union.
Can we bring drinks/alcohol?
Outside alcohol is permitted.
Where will we be picked up? Is there parking?
Lake and Locks tours pick up will be at the 14th Avenue boat ramp (4400 14th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107) and there is ample street parking. For other tours, pickup location will be discussed when tailoring your specific tour.
